Welcome to the Yorkshire Rising Stars Awards. We have just completed our fifth successful year and are now looking forward to moving forward to our sixth! The awards have been established to recognise and celebrate the next generation of finance professionals across the Yorkshire region.
The awards are aimed at outstanding qualified or part qualified accountants who have made a significant contribution to the running of their finance function and may perhaps be the finance directors of tomorrow…
This is your opportunity to recognise a key member of your finance team’s efforts and achievements by nominating them for this award. To nominate a member of your team please complete the nomination form. You will then be contacted by a member of the team.
Once you have made your nomination, an interview will take place with our judging panel made up of representatives from Sharp Consultancy, Grant Thornton, Gordons LLP and RBS. These representatives will then meet to discuss all the candidates with an independent adjudicator to decide on the winners of each category and the overall Yorkshire Rising Star of the Year. The final results will be announced at a black tie gala dinner, to which you and your nominee will be invited.
Prior year entrants have included high calibre individuals from leading Yorkshire organisations, including ASDA, Seabrook Crisps, Communisis, Bettys & Taylors, Firth Rixson, ghd, SIG plc, Jet 2.com, Sheffield Hallam University, Leeds City Council, Zubrance and Costcutter.
This is a fantastic opportunity to highlight the efforts made by a key individual in your finance team.
